On 5/24/2026 John Stuelke had this to say:
As a many time visitor to the museum, I always find new and interesting items to see and read about. My grandfather was the depot agent for the Illinois Central Railroad in Nashua, so seeing all that old railroad history brings back many memories. Other members of my family were longtime teachers and the bell in front of the high school is dedicated to my great grandfather Reg Stuelke. Thank you to all the volunteers who keep the museum staffed and running, you are very much appreciated!

We visit every year when is it from Wisconsin to put flowers on the family plot at Greenwood. The visit isn’t complete with a stop by the church and the pioneer village. Testimonial written by Gene Prudhon on this site.

They were closed when we found the place so we didn't get the full experience. Such a great quirky place full of history. We spent a couple hours taking it all in. Great time. We'll be back when they're open. Also checked out the little brown church. #youshouldbehere #RoadDogmom #geocaching
